Cambodia has expanded its economy by an annual average rate of 7 percent in the past few decades. The economic growth was tremendous, ranking among the best in the world, thanks to the peace and political stability. With the effective measures and strategies by the Cambodian Government, Cambodia has not only survived but thrived during the global pandemic. According to ADB, Cambodia’s economy is forecast to grow 5.3% in 2022 and 6.5% in 2023. Cambodia underwent a significant transition, reaching lower-middle-income status in 2015 and expressing the aspiration of attaining upper-middle-income status by 2030.Economic growth has made a lot of positive impacts on the country, e.g., a huge reduction in the poverty rate, significant growth in the middle-income population, and especially the gigantic opportunities for the existing and new businesses in all sectors.

The growth of wealth for the Cambodian population and the increase in foreign direct investment and foreign businesses have created a very big demand for the Trust business operation. Zillion Trust PLC was established in Aug 2020 with a Trustee Business License from the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) to address the needs of Individual and Institutional Clients in safeguarding, managing, and maximizing their wealth and funds.
